fortnite now has its own survival crafting game mode, lego fortnite. There is a lot to do in the game, but knowing where to start can be difficult.
Whether you’re just trying to build a tidy village or want to take on big bads, entering the world for the first time can be tremendously overwhelming. It can be difficult to dive into a new survival game, but we’ve got you covered.

The trees grow back, but the big rocks don’t.
Wood will be plentiful, but your methods for extracting granite from larger rocks will be limited. In our games, the large granite deposits never reappeared, even though the trees around him did. With that in mind, plan accordingly!
Adventure with NPCs for more protection.
As you add NPCs to your village, you can assign them to go on adventures alongside you. When given tools and weapons, the NPC will fight bad guys for you and help you collect materials.. The latter is useful, especially when you are caving in caves.

Plan your buildings carefully, because you can’t move them
Unfortunately, you can’t lift or move buildings, machinery, furniture, or anything else you build. If you want to move things, you’ll have to tear it down and rebuild it. Not all hope is lost, as you recover material costs when things break down, but it is a pain.
Laying the foundation well is the key to creating fresh structures
You’ll learn this as you create buildings from plans, but the secret to building good structures is be flexible with your foundation. Don’t just lay out the largest square foundation and start building off of that. You must add smaller portions of foundation around those larger squares so that the walls, corners, and pillars fit properly into your buildings.
Always take more than you need
As you build, you will need to constantly farm materials: wood, granite, marbleetc It’s annoying to go back and forth between the caves and your village, so be sure to grab everything you can before heading back for your own comfort.
Don’t process all your materials
After growing tons of wood and the like, don’t put it all in processing machines (such as a sawmill or stone cutter). You will need the processed version of these materials, such as boards made from wood, but you will often also need the raw materials, so don’t be too enthusiastic.

Keep building more things
To level up your village, you will need to keep building things. Upgrade the original huts you placed, build a well-furnished house for your villagers, or simply test your design skills by putting together a log mansion. By doing this, you will level up your village in no time.
Keep wood with you for makeshift stairs
You never know when you’ll need it build a set of stairs to reach things in a pinch. There is nothing more horrible than entering a cave to farm marble and realizing that you can’t reach it and that you have nothing to build stairs with. Oops! You only need two pieces of wood to build a staircase.
