Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly demanding a spot on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during King Charles’s coronation, and recognition during the festivities for their two young children, according to a report.

The requests, and the couple’s apparent resistance until their wishes are granted, could turn the historic event into “chaos,” the royals fear.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who recently received their invitations to the May 6 ceremony, are still considering whether or not to make the 5,459-mile journey.

If they go, the exiled royals will be met with “indifference” from senior members of the royal family, according to a report.

Harry and Meghan are mainly concerned about the role of their children: Prince Archie, who will turn 4 the day his grandfather is crowned king, and Princess Lilibet, 1, a source close to the palace told OK! Magazine.

The royals fear that Charle’s upcoming coronation will turn into “chaos” thanks to the list of demands from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Archie and Lilibet are not believed to have been invited to attend the coronation, which was reportedly not very well received by the exiled royals.

“The palace is trying to conclude the negotiations as quickly as possible because they cannot go all the way. It could lead to chaos,” a source told the outlet.

“However, what the Sussexes are pushing is for them to be included with the rest of the family at the Palace later that day,” the source added.

A source close to the palace said the main cause for concern is that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want their children included.

“It’s also Prince Archie’s birthday on coronation day, so they’d like some sort of nod to that at a luncheon or drinks reception. Even if it’s just a mention of happy birthday.”

The absence of the two young people from the event “had never been a reason for contention”, according to the source, due to the “concerns and tantrums” typical of small children.

Harry and Meghan are also reportedly pushing to be included on the Buckingham Palace balcony on the big day, a royal protocol reserved strictly for only working members of the royal family.

“However, what the Sussexes are pushing is for them to be included with the rest of the family at the Palace later that day,” the source told the media.

“It is very possible that it ends in a deadlock and they do not attend. But the palace is doing everything possible to prevent that from happening.”

Charles will be formally crowned on May 6, a date fans believe was chosen specifically to cause conflict over the Sussexes and Archie’s birthday.

Meanwhile, leaked plans revealed that Prince William’s children are expected to take part in the coronation, reports The Times.

Supposedly, Harry and Meghan are pushing to be included on the Buckingham Palace balcony after the coronation.

George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 5, will join their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton in a carriage behind a Gold State Coach carrying the King and Queen, plans spotted by the exit show.

The coronation drama is the latest sign of discord among the royals since the Sussexes stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2020.

The move resulted in conflict and bad blood and was what ultimately led to his absence from the palace balcony at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last summer.

The Post has contacted representatives for the Sussexes, while Kensington Palace declined to comment.
