Sony is now accepting pre-orders for its latest PlayStation 5 console bundle, which includes a digital code for final fantasy 16. The pack will be released on June 22, the same day the game launches exclusively for PS5. When it comes to the advantages of getting this bundle over getting the console and game separately, there may not be as many as you’d expect. You’re saving $10 off its regular cost of $69.99, and the box it all comes in it sure is pretty but it’s not an exciting limited-edition, Nintendo-esque design Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-OLED theme switch.
final fantasy 16 launches with three editions: a $69.99 Standard Edition, a $99.99 Deluxe Edition, and a $350 Collector’s Edition, each of which includes more physical and in-game items than the last. The game included with the console is unfortunately the standard version. Unsurprisingly, it comes with the same pre-order perks that come with the game if you were to purchase it separately from this bundle. That includes the Braveheart weapon, the Cait Sith Charm which increases Gil (the in-game currency), and Scholar’s Spectacles, which increases experience gained from battles. You can see all the differences between each edition in our final fantasy 16 pre-order guide.
