Malcolm Washington is hitting the crimson carpet at the premiere of his directorial debut!
Malcolm, 33, premiered his new Netflix film The Piano Lesson at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival on Tuesday (September 10) held at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
Supporting Malcolm at the premiere had been his dad and mom Denzel and Pauletta Washington, sister Katia, and brother John David, who seems within the film.
Cast members in attendance additionally included Ray Fisher, Michael Potts, Skylar Aleece Smith, Danielle Deadwyler, Corey Hawkins, and Gail Bean.
Here’s the film’s synopsis from Netflix: “Set in 1936 Pittsburgh during the aftermath of the Great Depression, The Piano Lesson follows the lives of the Charles family in the Doaker Charles household and an heirloom, the family piano, which documents the family history through carvings made by their enslaved ancestor.”
