Northern California Forecast: A Look at Sunday and Thanksgiving Week

The KCRA 3 weather team is calling Saturday Impact Day due to continued moderate rain in Northern California. Rainfall will continue to taper off in the valley Saturday night and remain in the mountains. Snow levels have been above passing grade for the most part, but should fall overnight. Chain controls may be able to go up, but the amount of snow should be limited. Looking ahead, Sunday looks dry with highs in the 60s and slightly breezy with winds at 10 to 20 mph. The minimum temperatures should be around 40 degrees. There is a chance for patchy fog in the region, but sunny skies are expected with a northerly breeze developing Sunday afternoon and lasting overnight.
