- The woman screamed that she was being kidnapped and struggled with the flight attendants.
- Another passenger joined the brawl, claiming that the woman had been possessed.
- The commotion was captured in a video posted on the social network Reddit.
A Frontier Airlines passenger was filmed having a major meltdown on a flight, while a nearby preacher implored others to pray, before bursting into song.
The chaos was captured in a video uploaded to the social network Reddit.
It begins after drama erupted aboard Flight 1161 on Nov. 16, with a woman sobbing and swearing at airline employees as they dragged her down the aisle.
‘Stop pulling on my arm!’ she barks as she emits a bloodcurdling scream.
A passenger in a gray hat enters the scene and follows the employees as they lead the screaming woman toward the front of the plane.
He raises a hand and begins to speak to the woman as she stirs and throws her head back. Miraculously, the woman stops panicking and looks at her.
The video then cuts to an apparent confrontation between a man in a white baseball cap and a staff member in a collared shirt.
Other passengers scream. Some have their phones raised, capturing the chaos unfolding in front of them.
Make him get off too! Make him get off too!’ another passenger shouts.
Seeing that they are distracted, the woman begins to climb up the seats, raising her legs and falling on her side.
Other passengers get up and run towards the aisle to escape as the woman advances. They finally push her out into the aisle before collapsing into a seat.
When a female voice in the back of the plane begins to scream, the camera pans to reveal a woman wearing a pair of sunglasses.
‘Straight Texas style! I’m going to beat you up!’ she screams.
The first woman panics again and shouts: ‘Stop blocking me! I’ve been fucking kidnapped!’ her before punching one of the employees.
The voice of a stewardess is heard over the speaker system.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I need everyone to sit down,” he says forcefully.
‘Please. Only the people who should be on top are the ones working with the passenger.’ The woman has already reached the seats on the opposite side of the plane.
‘Stop laughing at me! Arrest!’ she shouts before raising her arms and proclaiming, “Hands in the air!”
She rests her hands on the luggage compartments and continues howling, demanding the staff to let her go.
The woman in the gray hat begins pacing up and down the hallway, proclaiming that the crisis is evidence of a “real devil who wants to kill each and every one of you, including your family members.”
She continues shouting, wagging her finger: ‘That’s not her! She is possessed! She needs help!
‘And I’m sorry to sound like that, but I’ll tell you right now, Jesus Christ is the way to the truth in life and there is no one who goes to God, the Father, without Jesus Christ.’
It is not clear if this woman knows the passenger suffering the crisis.
Meanwhile, another employee in a brown sweater appears to be comforting the first woman, rubbing her shoulders as they stand at the front of the plane.
‘Who doesn’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ?’ —asks the woman with the hat as the people murmur. “If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ, I suggest you find one.”
“We’re trying to leave,” a passenger says, sounding exasperated.
The video cuts once again. The woman in the hat is now at the front of the plane.
She begins singing gospel music as the flight attendants try to subdue the panicked passenger, who shouts, ‘You’re fighting me! Stop fighting with me!’ and she falls to the ground.
The employee in the brown sweater hugs her and continues to rub her back and rock her like a baby.
The woman in sunglasses has gotten up again.
Nobody plays with you, girl! You’re crazy? Come on, I’ll go crazy on you,’ she shouts.
The police arrive on board. An officer is in the hallway talking to staff members.
“We have to lower it,” says a passenger, laughing.
But the officer steps aside, allowing the woman, who is blushing and wiping tears from her eyes, to return to her seat.
The flight left Houston at 1:39 p.m. and was supposed to land in Denver, but was ultimately diverted to Dallas, flight records show.
Speaking exclusively to Dailymail.com, a woman whose son was on the flight explained: “They had to stop in Dallas to let the crazy lady, the preacher and the guy in the white baseball cap get off.”
He added that ‘the crazy woman was hitting and attacking the flight attendant who was blocking her more than once.’
Frontier Airlines was not immediately available for comment.
The scene bore a striking resemblance to the viral video of marketing executive Tiffany Gomas, who suffered a similar breakdown aboard an American Airlines flight in July.
Gomas ran to the front of the plane and told his fellow passengers that he was disembarking because the plane was unsafe, before accusing a fellow passenger of “not being real.”
