Travis Kelce finally reveals what it’s like to be dating one of the biggest pop stars in the world: Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end told the WSJ. Magazine in an interview published on November 20 said that she “has never dated anyone with that kind of aura,” confirming rumors of her romance with the “Karma” singer.
“I’ve never dealt with that,” Kelce said. “But at the same time, I’m not going to run away from any of that…. The scrutiny she receives, how much he looks at her with a magnifying glass, every day, the paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she just lives, enjoys life. . When she acts like this, I better not be the one acting strange.”
After Kelce initially attempted to woo Swift after her concert in Kansas City last summer with a failed attempt to give her a friendship bracelet, the 34-year-old explained to the WSJ. Magazine that she had “someone playing Cupid.” However, she was vague as to the identity of the matchmaker.
He then recalled the message he received from Swift on his phone, saying, “She told me exactly what was going on and how I was lucky enough to get her to contact her.”
Although she didn’t tell the publication who specifically created them, Kelce revealed that some were part of the Swift family.
“He’ll probably hate me for saying this, but… when he came to Arrowhead, they gave him the big locker room as a locker room, and his little cousins were taking pictures… in front of my locker.”
Kelce stayed tight-lipped in the interview about the couple’s first date, but mentioned how he handled his nerves before the big evening.

But fans really went crazy when Swift boldly decided to personalize her iconic hit “Karma” to include a reference about Kelce.
The song’s original lyrics are “Karma is the boy on the screen/Coming straight home to me.” Swift changed the line and sang: “Karma is the Chiefs boy / He’s coming straight home to me.”
The crowd immediately erupted in cheers and applause with all eyes on Kelce, who held back a big smile and shook his head. She then began to applaud and finally threw a kiss and a greeting to the singer.
After the show, fans caught video of Swift, still dressed in the sparkly outfit from her latest song, running into Kelce’s arms and sharing a kiss.
