
Two men died early Sunday after they were shot outside a nightclub in Sacramento County, according to the sheriff’s office. When officers arrived, they found two men with life-threatening gunshot wounds who were later pronounced dead at the scene. One of the men was the owner of the nightclub, the sheriff’s office said. The suspects in the shooting fled in a white vehicle and were later detained by California Highway Patrol officers. During the investigation, detectives discovered that a group of gang members were at the nightclub and had refused to leave at closing time, leading to a fight in the parking lot, authorities said. The sheriff’s office said that during the fight, a gang member shot the two men who died at the scene. Multiple firearms were recovered from the suspects’ vehicle.
