star field is one of this year’s biggest RPG releases so far, and overall Bethesda’s most successful release. The interstellar experience puts you in the shoes of a solid space explorer capable of traveling through galaxies. All great Bethesda games come with the possibility of glitches or glitches, and Starfield is no exception. Since its recent release, fans of the game have managed to find easy ways to get quick credits. While not necessarily as honest as selling old equipment to vendors, this exploit is worth it.
As detailed in more detail in our Starfield review, Bethesda’s latest entry to its long line of beloved RPGs is huge. Considering its large size, the glitches in the game are not a surprise. Following the discovery that one of the best Starfield suits was free thanks to a clever hack, players came across another similar type of hack that can make their Constellation explorer rich right off the bat. If 160,000 credits seems like a lot to you, that’s because it is. As someone who sells cubed space food for money, I could use the extra credits.
When said credits are free, it makes it even better. If you’re aboard the Stroud-Eklund Staryard, try the trick for yourself. Once you have exited your ship, continue straight to the next room where the ship parts display is located. Go to the right side of the rope on the screen and use some fun camera movements to force the collision and push yourself through the wall. If you run, it will be easier to achieve.
I stumbled across this amazing clipping bug on #starfield
Simply go through the wall and jump into the chest to get 160000 credits! pic.twitter.com/caUI8nVxgD

This is where the exploit becomes a little more difficult to execute correctly, as you can see in the images by Karim Jovian above. Once you’re through the wall, you’ll have to be quick and use your momentum to land on a small patch of solid ground. Eventually, you’ll cross the corner and find yourself facing a chest filled with a whopping 160,000 credits. If you’re looking for even more cash, you’re in luck.
You can repeat the exploitation of the chest as many times as you want. Fly to Venus, land, rest, and then fly back to the Staryard. It will only take about five minutes and you will get the same amount each time. You’ll quickly become one of the richest inhabitants of the galaxy, without the need for Starfield mods. In some ways, the method is reminiscent of Skyrim’s own buggy Whiterun chest.
With a massive Starfield patch on the way with future features like DLSS support and an FOV slider, there’s no telling how long this exploit will continue to work in the game. Bethesda may leave it for a while or fix it with the big update. I myself will be making many trips to the Stroud-Eklund Staryard. As appetizing as Starfield’s food may look, it can only generate a certain amount of cash. The same goes for all those knick-knacks from everywhere that I keep flooding my inventory with.
